Lettings, Made Straightforward

Bristol Lettings (Digs) has been letting and managing properties in Bristol since 2005, based in the heart of the city centre. Our focus is to make the process as easy as possible for tenants.

A stable, experienced team is central to how we work — less staff turnover means a better understanding of each property and landlord over time. It’s this continuity, backed by proper training, that lets us maintain consistently high standards across a demanding market.

Bristol Lettings (Digs) Accreditations

At Bristol Lettings (Digs), trust and professionalism sit at the centre of everything we do. We hold the Propertymark accreditation — the only student lettings agent in Bristol to do so — giving our tenants confidence that we’re held to recognised industry standards, not just our own.

Tenant FAQ's

Answers to the questions we’re asked most — covering fees, maintenance, tenancy terms and support throughout your stay in Bristol.

How do I book a viewing?

All viewings are by appointment through our office. We give existing tenants at least 24 hours’ notice, so most viewings during busy periods are arranged as block viewings at the property.

Once you’ve chosen a property, you’ll pay a Holding Deposit (equivalent to one week’s rent) and sign the reservation form to take it off the market. This is added to your Security Deposit once your tenancy agreement is signed, and protected in a government-recognised scheme from the start. Properties are secured on a first-come, first-served basis.

We will try to ensure that all properties are handed over in a clean/tidy condition at the start of tenancy, however please be aware that in most cases of student properties previous tenants may only have vacated on 30th June and therefore tenants wishing to move in on or around the 1st July may have cleaning and maintenance being carried out around them.

We have 30 days to return your deposit under the relevant scheme. If there are any deductions, we’ll liaise with the lead tenant, and refunds are paid by BACS — in full to the lead tenant, or individually if you paid separately.
